Well! I'm glad to see an example of this form, I'd never heard of it before. I think you did fantastic! And it's funny too. Most enjoyable and best in the contest too! ps..my dad raised hogs and I used to ride one of them like a pony. She really didn't appreciate it but tolerated...:)

Unique approach to the contest with the chosen subject, well portrayed! Paints a picture of the scene with acoustic attributes too. Superb rhymes, fine alliteration, great flow, and fine presentation. Bravo and good luck.
Warmly, rd

Thank you, rd, for your very encouraging comments, and good luck wishes.
And good luck to you, too.

This tyburn, A Day at the Farm, is formatted correctly and opens the farm gates up to the sensory perceptions of coaxing milkers and sloppers, to the pungent smells of cheeses and the other powerful odors. Nose-talgic.

Wow, does it do all that?! I know you're right about the pungency. I have never inhaled a worse stench than the times I had to 'slop the pigs,' as a teenager. The memories of those days, is, indeed, 'nose-talgic.'
Thanks for the compliments, Bill.
