Bill, This is a very well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and very good imagery with the art work. Blessings, Teri

great to see it is not biographical LOL
good poem
well spoken
good strong imagery
reminds me of a really old film about a man whose brother had some bug put into his ear (instead of nose) and it was sending him balmy

I saw that one. It was on Night Gallery. He got an earwig in his ear and it ate from one side to the other and left out the other ear. It laid eggs on the way through.

Great job. I really like this one. Now we're into amoeba. Scary stuff. Those little buggers can kill us. Where do we go from here. I'll wait and see. Marilyn

I can tell. As I read this cannibalistic tale I was made to wonder, I s there a life form he won't write about. The obvious answer must be, no, there is not a lifeform he will not write about. Oh well, then I guess my only advise is to keep it interesting.

Amoeba prone to write more about these cute little fellows.

Uh-oh. That can't be good. Maybe that's what's wrong with me, too.
I'm looking forward to what comes next in the amoeba world.

LOL! This is great, my friend. You really should have saved this for a humorous 5-7-5 contest for it smacks of winner. It's not only creative but something nobody else has used as a theme so it is refreshing. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Yep, they may be. Nice looking presentation. Creative words to boot. Maybe BOO has one brain cell? Size of an Amoeba. Like the blue color. Enjoyed this. It is BOO-tastic! Not being sarcastic.

By the time it finishes its munchies it will have two cells. It's the way of evolution right? I hope you entered this in the 5-7-5 contest. Did you?

I don't have enough readers to win contests. I just do stuff for me. Thanks for the kind review, Jay.

The readers don' vote, Bill. A contest committee votes. Some of your stuff would blow the competition out of the water.

Yikes!! Glad to see you posting again, Bill! I wonder what the amoebas will do next. I first heard about brain eating amoebas which killed someone who did the nasal rinsing with unsterilized tap water in Louisiana.

Comment from Gloria ....
Haaaaaaa, oh that's a pleasant thought. An one eyed purple brain eating amoeba. I gotta tell you though, Bill. This cracked me up. Great humour in this fiveseventyfive. You should've entered it into the contest though. It's a winner! Oh well there must be more where that came from, yes?
Thanks for the good chuckle.

Thanks, Gloria. Believing amoeba can do this is a hard 'cell'.
