Thank you so much yeah I am having a break reviewing for a while and will only post to store my poems on Here.
I am tired, I just can't keep up reviewing anymore and would not be fair if others reviewed mine and I didn't reciprocate.
I have posted 2 poems a day for the last four and a half years that's close to 3700 poems. I just give full commitment any more

Hey Chrissy I just need to have a break I have been going everyday for four and a half years now posting 2 poems everyday
I am tired I have lost my Mojo.
I will be still posting from time to time but purely only to store my poetry on Fanstory so I have another archive storage bin.
I have posted over 3700 poems since coming to FanStory so that bin is pretty full. lol
I have been thinking about it for a while but last night I just decided. Please don't feel obliged to review my poems as I won't be reviewing anymore I just can't keep up anymore.It would be unfair if I didn't reciprocal review
I love Fanstory and I am sure absence will make the heart grow fonder as they say and maybe rejuvenate my spark. and mojo again. I still have over 500 poems that have never been posted on here. But because of my obsession with this site day in day out I haven't seen my wife for four and a half years..and she is only in the next room!

Oh Dip. You did make me smile about seeing your wife I think my husband feels the same way LOL .I know sometimes this can take over ones life and I must admit I do get FS anxiety if I havent't posted for a while and I know just what you mean so take a break and enjoy other things in life. You will survive without you daily FS fix . Make it a monthy post even one every so often when your craving is so bad Ha Ha. I think what keeps us here is the great friendships and positive feedback that reassures us that we can write and be appreciated for doing so. This is my hobby or passion and as much ad my family think I can write a good poem They don't have the interest that I do and say Oh thats nice if I win or get excellent reviews but in all honesty they really don't care that much. I am in a flurry of poems at the moment as I am on holidays and have a lot more time to write and even review bit I know that will deminish once I am back to work and other things take over my life again.
I am so pleased to have found FS though as it has given be the incentive to write and improve as a poet. Like you I have written heaps of poetry that I would never of even though of doing before FS so yes it is addictive but one must try to control it and not be comsumed by its mystery and drive to be the best. Plus it is dam costly I do spend quite a bit of my hard earned money here Tom must be a millionaire by now LOL.
Anyway Dip take a breather there is more oout there to enjoy and remember FS is only a click away so hope to see you occasionally Pop up.
I wil review you if you do.

Joy that is a lovely thing to say. My reasons for having a break is I am just plain tired I just can't keep up with reviewing even my fans. Life is not just Fanstory for me anymore. I will be still posting from time to time but only to store my poems It is only fair that if one reviews me that I reciprocate in kind and that's how I thought it would work, you reciprocate.
I haven't seen my wife in four and a half years! since joining and she is only in the next room I don't think I have sat down and watched telly with her in all that time. I love to write and will never lose the passion.
I am sure my mojo will come back.When Its time to get back on the scalpel so to speak I will wite a welcome back poem lol

Look, I certainly understand your motivation or should I say, lack of it LOL
A small hiatus from the site is often good. As you know I've been working on this website for the past year so my hiatus was forced. However time away made me realise I really need to craft well what I post and make it quality over quantity as I JUST don't have the time at the mo until I finish my project.
FS is a big investment no matter how you look at it and you often only get out of it what you put into it.
With that said, there is no need to make it your life blood and feel you must reciprocate so many people. I found that's what irked me about many here who automatically expect reviews back JUST because they reviewed me. Every one has a different amount of time they can dedicate and whatever you have to give or not give is fine.

I made the decision last night after seeing a backlog of 108 messages I just can't keep up this reviewing I just felt obliged to review my friends.
You know I haven't seen my wife for the four and half years that I have been coming here? and she is only in the other room!
You my friend are the reason I come as well as other wonderful poets
as you say romance poems can get boring and monotonous I am losing my mojo
I will not be leaving fanstory totally and you will see my writes from time to time only because We have fanned each other
I use Fanstory as another place to store my poems other than word doc now so if I post it will be for that reason
I know I will miss the placebut after four and a half years and some 3700 poems posted I just need a break Maybe absence will make the poetic heart to grow fonder again
I wish you all the best with your wonderful endeavours P I will private message you and give you my email details but I am sure you stillhave them You are a great fanstory friend and beyond and its people like you who have kept my fanstory light burning

Time is a commodity hat we have been give. Each of have the same amount in our account, and we can chose to either use it for good or we can waste it on trivial things. Though my health is such that there are many things I can no longer do, but what I am able to do I strive to do it to the best of my ability. Patricia

I am sure I will get bored not being on here but it is a selfish pass time you have to be committed to reviwing but I just can't keep up and give decent reviews

I love this site and I have made many friends I just keep up this pace it is very time consuming and it won't be to go anywhere else I assure you of that. Its just I cannot have the time to reciprocal review any more so even if I post 2 poems I will not be promoting them so if anyone wants to read them they are welcome to.
I have other challenges to pursue. It is such a time consumer WE are slaves to the system
