Yes, I liked the cartoon, very different indeed. Thank you for keeping us informed and for keeping this journal to help keep your sanity. My prayers for you both

Hi Ine. My prayers are with you and Robert. Hopefully he will be out of the hospital and home again soon. Hang in there. It's hard when a loved one is in the hospital. Marilyn

My prayers continue for both of you and wisdom for the doctors and nurses. I have a feeling they also need prayer. Thank you for sharing. Please keep us updated.

Robina,
I didn't find any problems at all!! Yay! Boy, I hand you a virtual medal. You know your first language, and can write in another -- that takes a lot.
I hope Robert listens to the doctor. My father was like that. He needed kidney dialysis for short term. He kept refusing until one doctor came in and frankly said 'if you don't have this you will die.' Then my dad agreed to have it. Some men are very proud. Good luck!!
Love,
Nome

Well, Ine.
I for one hope your hubby, Robert, is able to take the Browns to the Super Bowl.
Or, pinch a loaf, if you prefer.
Oh believe me when I tell you this. There are a plethora of colorful phrases connected with taking a pooh:
Taking a dump.
Dropping a load.
Dropping a deuce.
Make a deposit in the porcelain bank.
Need I go on?
My prayers are with you both.

Sorry Ine that your husband is still in hospital. But you sound like you are in charge and know what's good for him. I like the cartoon. You made me laugh when you hoped we liked it more than Robert did. To be fair, he is not amused as he is fed up with hospital poor man. Good luck and good health soon I hope. Warm regards Dorothy x

I suffer from diverticulitis and IBS which results in a spastic colon. I have been hospitalised with this. I started with suppositories, then moved onto fleet enemas and finally got my own enema kit which holds 2 litres of water. I use purified water, half cold and half boiled to create a warm but not hot temperature, then either add baking soda or sea salt or just leave if plain, I promise you your husband will not move his bowels lying down and either not eating or eating constipating hospital food. A strong laxative such as dulcolax liquid may be preferable to him (it will cause cramping to some degree but to many that is preferable to enemas however for me enemas and even colonic irrigation have proved saviours to me and hospitals do nothing That weak fibre drink wont help, moving around, at least a glass of water per hour and lots of good fibre such as oats, wholegrains and fruits are the only way forward. I promise the hospitals seem to know nothing. Hope he is better soon kindest regards Meiaxx

This is a good story about fitness.
I liked the humour of the story worked out.
Said more and told less.
I enjoyed the read and the curious ending.
