I have avoided this challenge so far. I admit it's a daunting task. Here you follow it well, but it feels a bit artificial. I'm not sure I'm a fan of this form, it's too obtrusive to content. That's not your fault. I think you've done well within the rules of the contest.

You're right. The "poem" can be secondary to the form. In this case, I began with an idea, and the challenge was to keep from blatantly straying from it to nail the next letter. I noticed that some of the entries seemed to have let the form do the writing.
I think that may be what you're getting at.

You are like the prudent writer in my piece, avoiding the pitfalls of the form.

Thanks a lot for what you said, Kahpot. I hope you're not one of the other nuts who tested the tempting shallow water. It looks easy as a b c, but what 'is easy is getting stuck in the mud..
