This poem offers humorous commentary about the contest and the difficulty of writing without a letter. It also works for writing poetry in general. Good use of rhyme and form. Enjoyable read.

Super way of personalizing "A" making himself the character of your "Life Without the Letter A" entry! Great job on rhyming and meter of this challenging poem making it a fun and easy read! Best of luck in the contest!

So clever! A different approach and I think you have beaten him. I'm sure that endeavouring to write anything without a certain letter concentrates the mind beautifully. I'm new to FanStory so haven't tried this yet but I think I will wait awhile!

A very well-written poem without using the letter 'a'. We may think it is an enormous task to write anything without any of the vierks. With careful choice of words it is quite possible.

WOW....NO MAKE THAT A DOUBLE WOW....BETTER YET, MAKE THAT WOW SQUARED.
This is absolutely fantastic.....I love it....EVERYTHING about it.....every non A filled word and your rhyming technique is top notch. It flows so pleasantly and makes one become a little bouncy in their seat as they read through each line. And because you could not, let me make up for it. Your writing was far from being Abashed, but it was definitely Aberrant but in a VERY good way. It was also Abounding, Above and beyond expectations in the writing world....to me anyway,
Abundant, Acceptable, Accomplished, Accurate, Achieved, not to mention you were Adamant about not utilizing the letter A and you succeeded with flying colors. Your writing was also Addictive, (Side note I just thought of it so I must include it before I forget.....YOU ARE Adept and Adroit), Admirable, Adorable,
Alive, and a tad Alluring, Amazing, Ambitious, Amiable, Amusing, Animated, Appealing, Applicable, Appropriate, Apt, Astounding, Authentic, Avid, Awesome,
Awestruck and absolutely a pleasure to read. I cannot think of another A word....I am sure there are plenty more......(smile).
I am truly humbled you selected my work of Art to accompany your writing. I cannot thank you enough for that....
Thanks for sharing.
WELL DONE>>>>
Bravo clap clap

my goodness! You are truly an "A"gal or rather an A+. thank you and thank you for your art work. I think I forgot to say that - will correct !!
I am overwhelmed and very pleased that you like my piece. (I don't think there are any "A" words left - don't think you missed a one! :)
Again, thank you very much for your more than kind words!

And succeed you did in fighting that fight that proves that a poem can be perfectly written without the letter A! Great job in maintaining a rhyme scheme and cleverly mentioning a "cussword" without saying it.

Great poem...cleverly written, descriptive language and great meaning. You fought the fight well. Interesting picture you chose, enhanced the meaning without taking away from the poem. Great job.

thank you very much. The picture was not really my choice, but the best of the lot they had.. I had a great one from Google, but somehow screwed up the transposition. arrgghh!
I read your peanut off the floor post and was amazed that one little peanut could do that. Do you have pets?
