Wow, this story had an unexpected twist at the end. Jaime was a dog, and a good one at that.

The dialogue was good, and although this is a flash fiction, the story provided enough information to connect with the ain characters.

Also, the story is well-developed. Good luck in the contest.

While I see this is fiction, it could be so true. Our furry loved ones may have been born 'an animal,' but to us they are people we love. I know Jamie was a true gentleman.
