To say that this is beautifully written is just not enough. When one finds the love you address it brings tears to the readers eyes. So simply written but so powerful when digested. An excellent tribute to your wife! These thoughts are with me frequently as my husband of 49 years and I age and death is imminent. Well done. The candle, a flame of love, compliments this piece so perfectly.

Congratulations to you and your husband on your 49 years of marriage. I was just telling another reviewer that I recently heard on the World News that 50% of the marriages today end in divorce within the first 5 years. What a shame.

This was my pleasure to read. Young people give up too easily and do not learn going through the lumps and coming out better as a couple. We are good examples in hanging in there no matter what. Thank you for offering to be helpful, I often need this support. If your wife doesn't love this, she needs a spanking, lol.

If we are lucky we get to spend tens of years with those we love and cherish. One day of course inevitably things change drastically, this poem touches on that so well.

I heard on the World News the other day that 50% of the marriages today end within the first 5 years. What a shame, it's as though they don't even want to try.
