Hello Linda: How are you, my good friend? We haven't talked for a long time and I have missed that. The weather here is getting much colder so I guess I will become homebound for the next few months. I still get around with a cane or a walker at times. Getting old is not a lot of fun and having MS sure doesn't help anything. The first day of December will make 25 years with this disease. Thank you for asking about me...

Thank you for your wonderful review and all those stars, I really do appreciate it. 50 years is a long time to stay together, but didn't you tell me that your Mom and Dad have been married for over 60 years. That truly is a blessing.

Yes, you are very fortunate to stay together for 50+ years with your loving wife by your side. And, even though someday you'll part, you ask the quintessential statement, "Please Remember Me." Your poem is lovely, and the flow and meter and rhymes are all super. The presentation, with the burning candle, is quite amazing. It must be comforting to know, that you will still be together, even after one of you passes on. This is very well written and deserves the prize for a thank you poem.
