Hi Cogitator. I was drawn to read "The Metaphysical Experience" on the home page but couldn't comment on that one because it didn't resonate with me. I, too, have been a seeker for over 40 years and realize through meditation and the metaphysical studies that all of us are at different levels of soul evolution. Stuff of the 3-D world defines the necessity of life on earth but not of spirit. So I gave a try to this piece, "Gaining Insight," which is much more compatible with spirituality of the seeker. Had some minor problems with this posting, seem a little drawn out. However, the arguments offered are well written and follow a logical path. In my past, I wandered about, in the blush of youth, seeking the truth...whatever that means. I have a very dear life friend that has made the journey with me. We have concluded that there is no answer to what is life and what is the purpose of it all.
My conclusion is God is and we are...we exist and beyond that, what more is needed or promised.
Think this is a well crafted argument and worth a couple of more reads. Much appreciated.

Cogitator, this is a very thought provoking, captivating message. Trust the "little cherub" to come up with the answer. Too many of us do not dig deep enough into ourselves to truly understand what life can truly hold for each of us. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Very well written and interesting essay with lots of supporting material. I didn't see anything that needed to be corrected. Great job!

What a fantastic essay here. I really enjoyed reading it, and had to go back through to check for errors. I didn't see any. Loved the story of creation, and this line:
A cherub at God's knee:
"Why not put it where he'll never look?"
"Where would that be, little one?"
"Put it inside him."
I just finished listening to an audio book about a pschic medium, and her message from the "Other Side" was so similar to this.
Loved this. Well done. I look forward to reading more of your work.

Hi there, another piece of good writing and insight as to what the world is about. I need to write more to be able to post this, and I really don't know what else to say. Not very helpful, I know. All the best. Ulla:)

Hi there;
Thank you for sharing another well-written piece dealing with the intricacies of life. Your ending paragraph sums up the premise of the piece and the concept of HERE and NOW is explained well.

Interesting start with "where to put the secret" being discussed. Good answer with INSIDE us. THe rest is all well known and rather preachy. I would rather have seen the conversation continue to reveal much of what you TOLD the reader as he/she dozed off. :)

A very good way to see things about one's self by looking inward. You have said it all in your writing. There is nothing I can add to the description, Only that My beliefs are similar to those expressed. Good read.

That's one smart cherub. To thine own self be true. I watch Dr. Wayne Dryer whenever PBS is conducting a fundraiser, which is every other week it seems.
