I've often been told to straighten up and play nice.
Why?
Well, I suppose because the common consensus is that it is easier to catch more flies with honey than it is with vinegar.

Very cool gif! I have had a couple of those plants but never observed it actually lure and consume a bug. I liked the "tasty pink promises" and the use of onomatopoeia.

Your 5-7-5 poem is well done and the picture is perfect for it.
In such a few words, it speaks on two levels; its overt one and its parabolic one. We should all take a lesson that not all sweet things are invitations, but they can be warnings. Isn't that the whole idea behind temptation - sweet on the outside and destruction on the inside?
