A very well-written repetition poem. Every boy dreams to be a Superman who will safe the world someday when they are grown. We can just be glad that they stay alive.

This is lovely and absolutely heartbreaking. True? If so, if it's true for you or someone you love, I can't begin to say how sorry I am.

Even if you just created the scenario, it is beautifully written. It moved me.

Thank you for the fantastic review, ep. I have in the author notes that this wasn't an actual bio but it was real close. While in Iraq, my wife's son was shot in the chest by a sniper. Praise God that the gear he was wearing saved his life. I really appreciate the gracious stars, ep. I'm glad you liked the piece. Have a great day.

Very nicely done repetition poem! The rhythm and rhyme work well and the story told flows smoothly. For your sake, was very happy to know that your poem wasn't a real bio. Great job - and good luck in the writing prompt contest!

I enjoyed reading your poem - though sad, "My Superman". You followed all the rules for this genre and you chose an appropriate picture.
All the best.

This is a very well written repetition poem you have penned for the prompt about a real life superman. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery with the art work. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Thank you for sharing your entry for the Repetition poem poetry contest. Your words were poignant, and they brought a gasp and tear to my eye in the last stanza. Prayers for all the mother and fathers of the little boys and girls who didn't come home,

A beautiful narrative, and most definitely a piece of work that came from the heart. I like how you portrayed the innocence of the boy from the beginning. Unlike most people this particular boy never lost sight of his childhood dream, and pursued what was right. This is of course my taking from this poem, and it's an excellent piece of work.
