What I love about your magnificent romantic poems, is the instant 'take me
away' effect it has on all the senses, almost simultaneously permeating
to the"oh's" "ah's" of emotions, feeling, fascinations and desires, this being
a most quintessential kind in entrancing verse, images and imagination,
so like your unique style and presentation. This is exquisitely engaging

Once again you manage to elegantly show how a couple's deep and unwavering love produces passionate heat in "midnight love's foray" without saying anything requiring a warning. Love is the evident dominant factor here, not the healthy lust it produces. It is shared love that begins the late night's warmth with gently held hands, then continues with soothing cuddles and increasingly hot kisses and caresses until full union cannot be postponed; and it is that same love which pauses to savor the "Sheer oneness in utter bliss" before continuing on, cherishing each "lush sensation" along the way. It is joyous mutual giving, rather than goal-oriented taking. The ecstatic state of union achieved will be far beyond the mere physical, and linger long past the peak moment -- thereby assuring desire for more of the same as the succeeding days, weeks, months, and years pass. The Ricalai form works well for you here. Superb, and aptly illustrated.

This is beautiful. Your poem is easy to read. I really thought the second to last stanza was especially strong but the entire poem spoke of love and the joy in it. The rhyme scheme was natural - each word fit perfectly. Great job.

This is an interesting form that I have not heard of before now. I enjoy seeing new poetry forms. It seems a lot like the villanelle, and possibly even similar to the kyrielle. I'm thinking of the rhyme scheme when I say that. I do enjoy rhymes :) I especially enjoyed your rhyme combination of thirst and immersed. Nice poem about the more heated side of romance.
