This 5-7-5, Every Single Day, has the correct syllable set up and reminds us that good days and bad days are almost totally up to our definition. Have a good one.

I like it but you should have used your title as the first line. Yet, I hear you and agree with you. We should enjoy and celebrate every single day.Good luck on the contest.

Thanks for the response. I wanted to, but I'm sometimes confused by syllable count. Is it based on sound--5 syllables, or is it based on actual--6 syllables?? I did not want to submit the wrong count!!!
-
I believe it is based on sound. What I do is google the word or use the dictionary where it is divided, accented etc. Your title has 5 syllables.

Hello my friend,
I like your 5/7/5 about ordinary days. It's so true, don't realize how important they are until we get old and look back.
ordinary days 5
should be held close to the heart 7
and celebrated 5.......good syllable count

Such wise words here which resonated within me, never take life for granted even those ordinary days. I'm always itching to get out of bed every morning to enjoy my days, I could identify with these words and it's a winner for me, love Dolly x

This 5-7-5 life writing prompt entry meets the standards of the syllable count and relays an important thought about time's passage and making each moment count. Nicely done. All the best in the contest! :0 GracieAnn

This speaks how days have to be lived mostly close to the heart; days in a life are numbered and not infinite, ordinary days have to be lived like days celebrated; I liked.
