Oh my dear lord! That would scare the hell right out of me. Very interesting imagery here. You did a great job in your poetic form of keeping the reader interested in the unfolding events. If your other cats sense its presence, then it is really there. Very interesting read. You did a great job of telling this story in poetic form. Wish I had one to tell.

It's just weird feeling it jump on the bed and walk around. Whenever something spooks our cats I joke with my wife that it must be our ghost cat, lol. Very strong story telling skills, with strong beginning, middle and end. Great imagery created for your reader, and wonderful rhymes and smooth flow throughout this piece.
Terrific presentation with spooky picture, presented in black and white make for strong, 'dark' impact on the reader.

Hey, Connie, hello. Thank you so much for the fantastic review and huge sixer. I was hoping a contest would come by so I could tell my little ghost story and sure enough, this one came up. You're the only one to mention the picture. I looked for a while to find the perfect pic. Then I put it in my art program to darken it up a little more, to give it more of a spooky feel. I haven't felt it on the bed for a few weeks now. Maybe it's napping in another room. Lol. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars, C. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again. It's the perfect picture, Ron. Sometimes it can take longer to find just the right picture, than it does to write the piece itself. This picture and poem are the 'total package'. Great job!

Thank you for the fantastic review, damommy. I believe there's ghosts among us but I never really though of one being an animal, for some reason. It's only happened a few times but it sure is weird when it does. It's just strange feeling it softly walking on the bed around me. It seems my own cats have gotten use to it too, lol. Thank you for the great review, Kerry. Yeah, it spooked me out the first couple times I felt it but since it doesn't really bother me I just let it do its thing. It doesn't happen too often. Just once in a while. Plus, that's all I really feel, when it jumps up and takes a few steps I look to see if it's one of my cats or not and when I do it all stops. My cats seem to have gotten use to it. They don't hiss at it anymore. Maybe they're friends now, haha. I really appreciate the generous stars, K. Thank you again.
