This is hilarious. I don't usually look at the photos attached. But that face on the caterpillar says it all. On a side note, I don't suppose lung cancer is permitted to exist in Wonderland. lol! But you're the writer, so...

Good morning again, Bill:
Yes, this poem post does have impact. It must have received plenty of attention. I forgot to see how many reviews you received on this one but I am sure it is many.
I see that you won the third place with this entry so good job and congratulations. Seven Words or Less Poem, and you did it with your seven catchy words. The Hookah-smoking is what caught my eye because i see people doing this as if it is so cute. It's just like putting a gun to your head and pulling the trigger. The amount of smoke that they are inhaling into their lungs with these things is alarmingly scary. I feel so bad for their lungs and their health because of it.
Anyway great post! I can see the humor in this and the great message.

Thank you, Tier, for the positive review. This one needed an impressive image, but most of the Alice in Wonderland caterpillar images are goofy. This one seemed to match the gravitas of the implication.

It sure did.

Great short narrative poem.
There are plenty herbal hookahs that do not have any tobacco. I live in an area where it is a big hangout thing. This vapor craze has multiple levels. I don't right it, because the ingredients are not from the USA. It's middle eastern and north african inspired and many dealers import to sell.

LOL! Dark and whimsical at the same time. That's a great emotional high to hit. The hyphen could be considered a cheat, but it feels appropriate. Nice picture, is it from the original book?
Good luck in the contest.

I'm assured that hyphenated words are one word. If I wrote a sentence that said...It was a farmer-in-the-dell scenario. ... that would be five words. The picture is from the newest movie version.

Makes sense.
Comment from His Grayness
This work is really well introduced with excellent artwork and coloration. The dialog is intentionally very brief in compliance with contest rules so not much can be said about it, other than it gets the job done and keeps the reader engaged fully....at least for the little time intended.
