A very well-written poem from the world of the caterpillar that walks and walks all get life going smoothly from point A to point B until her wooden leg broke with a clank.

Comment from Gloria ....
Okay Bill this is some seriously twisted humour and I love it! Because it drew in the thought of a caterpillar tank or something like that. lol.
Very entertaining!

I enjoyed your lighthearted poem and echoing sounds plus humor. I appreciated your alliteration of "p's" as well in the short quatrain. Smiles- Joan

Very creative. I got my laugh for the day.
Phrasing was great:
"Cater- pitter- patter - pillar" - you can "hear" the caterpillar walking.
Pill/sill/'til rhyme
Then the twist - wow- so funny.
Well done.
I liked this.

Lol. That's cute. I'm not sure how many legs a caterpillar has. I like the sound effects in the first line which places the little feet sounds of "pitter patter" in the word, caterpillar. Then the last line gives us the surprising, humorous ending.

haha I can just about hear this Bill.
Good job on the alliteration of 'p', cross rhymes pill/sill/til, & ononmonopeia--CLANK.
So she is crawling around on her many legs, then the wooden one makes the noise. Funny. Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

YOU are TOO much! I'm still giggling. Poor caterpillar. Each word carefully chosen is a gem to complete this unique and creative poem. Last line is a clincher. Great job. Marilyn
