Just be sure that you are away from the spraying end when you choose to toss him because one good spray from can ruin the rest of your week. You won't enjoy any thin you sniff for the foreseeable future. On that you can bet.

Pull pin and throw. The pin is a clothes pin for the nose.

Pew! What a little stinker. Yeah, I got a good whiff of his magic scent yesterday. i heard that old fable before about a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. this is a comical twist to that ideology and now, myth. Don't accidentally press his scent glands, or else! bet he packs a powerful wallop. BOO-terrific!

This is yet another very cute 5-7-5 about the tiny little skunk. You used very cute wording, but please don't throw it. It's so little and cute. I love the picture. Blessings, Teri

What a sweet baby. So tiny.

You wouldn't throw him if this was real, but it makes a good story. He's too small to do damage. 8-)

At this age, I might consider having it de-scented and raising it like a cat.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE. So sweet-please don't throw him! Clever and inventive poem in this entertaining series. Like the association to this famous saying sans the bird.

Aww, he looks so cute! Isn't it tiny? It's got to be a newish born. I believe they only send out a nasty stink if they feel threatened. So I'd be careful if I was you! LOL.
Well done, an excellent 5-7-5 poem. Sandra x

Ah, the little stinker,
best to keep him at twenty arms distance
It may look cute now, but it is one foul creature
Excellent 5-7-5 poem in black and white
Interesting subject for a series of poems
A breath of fresh air
Well done

Bill,

Of course I know you are being sarcastic & would never throw a baby skunk. Your poem is funny though. Good job with the syllable counts per line. I know these are listed as 5-7-5 poems, but yours seem to have more to them in the way of a complete thought or?? They are fun to read & don't try to make a 5-7-5 into a haiku 5-7-5.

Good job & thanks for sharing. Jan

The picture is great, too. The little skunk is so cute.
