I love your poem, it brought me back to when I use to walk my dog. Especially late at night when the traffic was just one or two passing cars, quiet, peaceful, just enjoying the moment with my best friend. Well written.

Well done a pleasant read. I like the illustrated pooch and the simple feeling of walking in rhythm with your pet. It is a realistic theme and follows the format of the poetic form.

Is that your girl in the pic? She must be getting on a bit. We have a 7-yr old Husky, but she has diabetes and is blind - still full of the joys of life though - she doesn't have to worry about the cost of insulin!

Hi Steve, Yes that is my Bonnie she is 8yrs and delightful and very spoiled an inside Husky rules our lives LOL She inspires me to write especially when we go for a walk ( Speaking of I'm off now.) Thanks so much for your review What is your Huskies name? Cheers

Our girl is called Mirror. She is quite small for a husky. We have two other dogs as well, and Mirror was the last to join the pack - we get her to come and socialise inside sometimes, but she's just as happy to lie out in the cold!
