Congratulations on winning this contest. I was the creator of this idea and hoped writers would find it a bit of a challenge. You did so well.

Dear frogbook, Wonderful poem about your thoughts of autumn. Congratulations on your first-place finish. I liked the picture, and your form and style of poetry. The background and the color of the wording was just right too. Dove

great work
I like the presentation very much indeed
The vivid representation of the season is exceptional
I love the autumn colour of the script
if I could pick a favourite I would say perhaps;-
"a riot of blazing beauty cradles the hillside."
how breathtaking is that line of poetry
good luck in the contest
though I doubt very much luck will have anything to do with it
have a smiley day

Could you let me know what I can do to improve since you gave me the worst rating of 1? Thanks for any suggestions. From your words sounded like you liked it.

So sorry, I thought I'd given you 5. I don't know how that happened' I loved it.

Thanks, I'm glad it was just a mistake. I hate to ask but would u mind going in to change it as it takes away my 6's. Greatly appreciated but not a huge deal if u don't have time.

A very well-written poem about autumn that we meet with mixed thoughts and emotions. We are glad the heat of summer is over but we dread the arrival of winter. It seems the seasons change quicker every year.

You did a fine job of expressing a mixed response to autumn...I felt like you understood my own joy and sorrow at this particular change of seasons. The only tiny suggestion I offer you would be in your line using "juxtaposition." I saw it as capturing the perfect expression of your theme. Perhaps you might consider emphasizing even more by moving it up and making it part of your opening line. Crazy? Dunno, but think about it a bit. A delightful poem.

Autumn says good bye to Summer and hello to Winter. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a colorful read. There is very good imagery.

Loved this. I think it was the roasting chili's that got me. Maybe the football games, but on any level, yup that's fall.
You get a scary six for that. Loved the photo

Ah, thanks so much! I live in Pueblo, Colorado and we have a Chili Festival here for our famous Pueblo Chilis so I always have that perception of fall among the others. Truly appreciate the kind review.
