Talk about knocking down the fourth wall. It can get dicey when your fantasy writing threatens the old lady. You might want to sleep with one eye open, at least until she gets over your threatening her with a file. LOL.

This pope/mole shenanigan is made all the more fun as I read on and presume that wifey is best pleased with said dream...
Kind regards

Dear Bill, Your obsession with blind tunnel diggers is amusing, my friend. The Mole seems to be your bosom companion of late. He certainly chooses illustrious company . The Pope no less. But, you know even the characters in nonsense rhymes have a way of dictating what they'll do. don't they? That's probably why they wouldn't go in the direction you wanted. Perhaps if you had wanted them to go through the hill or under it?? Anyway, a fun read, and definitely up to your usual standard . Well done cheers Cass

Thanks, Cass. I should have sent that knife-wielding mole THROUGH that hill. Of course! Thank you.

Mole world. Everything appears green. Where is the leprechaun and me pot of gold? BOO's favorite verse: A mole dressed in taupe with a noose-knotted rope
meets up with the Pope on a slippery slope;
both have a hope that they can co-cope,
not look like a dope when fate deals a 'Nope'.
Good going, mate! BOO-tastic!
