Hi dear Linda,
Yes, the month of June was incredibly painful for us. We are getting better. I am trying to spend more time writing again. It is rather cathartic in a way. Thank you for your sweet and kind words. Love you as well, Carolyn

Carolyn, it has been a while since I have read your poetry. It is always great and very meaningful.
Back in June, my faith in my Savior brought me through a very dreadful time of my nearly dying. I laid in a comma for three days and was revived once in the emergency room. I spent the 12 days in the cardiac care unit in isolation. I was fighting through kidney failure and a high grade MRSA infection.
So, I know first hand what my faith did for me! Praise God!!

Hi Jim and thank you for this kind and thoughtful review as well as the personal update
on your health. Yes, my husband had a bought with MRSA as well in March. He was hospitalized
for several days with a strange disease called Polycondritis. as well as vasculitis which I had never
seen on heard of. He is doing well and holding up to the family tragedy too. It has been hard but as
you say we know first hand what Faith can do.
So happy you are doing well my friend.
:-) Carolyn

You certainly have needed your faith this year, my friend. I am so sorry for your losses. Such a waste of a young life, too. Your poem shows your strength, I hope it truly helps you in this sad time. Big hugs and good luck in the contest. You are due some good luck. :) xx Sandra xxx

Hi notes and more,
The faith poetry that you've written for the contest was very good. I'm sorry to hear that your son died and also your Mother in Law. I love what was written in this line: Faith upholds the weary soul and shares our grief.

I still have lots of aches and pains.
I have problems in walking too. Otherwise I am fine.

I'm so so sorry for the loss of your son at such a young age. Several days later you suffered the passing over of a good friend. It is faith indeed that keeps you from falling apart. Know too that both your son and mother-in-law are watching over you. I expect they helped you pen this poem.

Hello, Carolyn. I am so sorry to read about your son and MIL. This poem of Faith is really beautiful. Nicely written. I makes me happy that so many who write here are loving Christians. God bless you, my friend. Miss Sally aka Angelface2.
