The sound of birds singing always makes me very happy, Gypsy. I thought this was a lovely enhancement to your haiku. Perhaps you could even leave out 'and chirps'?Great images, and Satori, Giddy

Hola Gitana, I loved this beautiful haiku. The imagery is amazing and the satori just sets it all off for me. I love the robin, one of my favourite birds. We have quite a few of them here in the winter time. A great addition to the book. Un abrazo de tu amiga Ulla:)))

This tiny tenor sure has a voice that carries. I like the strong image given in these few words. No artwork needed here. I always enjoy your haikus.

G'day mate.
lol... Tiny terror? lol. A very nice little piece about one of the birds I'd really like to see. I've never seen one.
You are the best at these and I applaud you.
Great job.
Cheers Fez

We had better enjoy all those calling birds for as long as we can. Old man winter will soon be on it's way, and then, we will be sitting wishing for the dreary weather to end and the the birds to come singing again. Great job. :-)

Thanks for sharing your work. I found it quite interesting.
With your poem, you've included a sound track of birds chirping and singing.
At first, I looked outside to see if the sound was coming from there. Of course, it wasn't since it's mid-evening here.
Even more interesting was the fact the sound even fooled my dog; he immediately started barking the second he heard it. :-) JW

You captured a lovely scene along with the sound effects in this haiku. I enjoyed your alliteration of ''s's" and "t's" that echoed the song. Smiles from Glacier Bay, Alaska- Joan
