This flows beautifully.I loved the whole concept.
The idea behind it was a really good one, and you painted an excellent

I would have written:
"Walking in New York--
like a fish swimming upstream
against fierce currents."

I have never been to New York, but based upon the New Yorkers know and what've seen on television, you described the scenery quite well.

I read a few of these entries. Thus far, I think this one really captures the essence of New York.
