The first and last lines are the same Shirley. LOL This is so true. We don't have a cat now, but I think there are a couple of feral ones hunting out there. Good job on this my friend.

I really like the fact that the start and end lines for this style are exactly the same.
I think it adds depth of meaning to the rest of the poem.

A very well-written Rictameter. A great subject choice. The cat lurking in the grass. Luckily, the wren spot him in time to save their own lives for the moment.
crouhes down low in the grass(7 syllables instead of 6)

lovely rhythm and lines throughout, stitched fantastically well.
I particularly enjoyed the imagery shown which paints such a vivid picture in the mind of this cat stalking the wrens...an excellent poem, that was a pleasure to read.
