lol Bill, I truly don't like flies at all. They annoy the cats when one gets in the house. it is funny to watch their heads turn the same way to find it! Very cute wording and imagery! Blessings, Teri

Ha, this is a fun and very humorous one, even though it did involve a death, preventing a marriage proposal-haha. Clever and always original.

Hahahahahaha, Bill, you make me laugh out load. I know I've said it so many times, but I love your dry humour. It's wonderful. Poor Freida and what a fate for her boyfriend. Very well written. I'm still laughing. All the best. Ulla:))

He went to all that trouble to get Freida a rose just to be eaten by a toad. Seems unfair.
Still, it's funny. The poor flies aren't having much luck, are they? lol

I do suppose that each one of us may appear to be a tasty dish to some predator who has a desire to taste our flesh. Sharks, all the big cats, Gators and Crocs, even the giant anacondas. So I guess it behooves us all to watch our backs and to try not to look like such a tasty dish. A tall order for some of the more rotund ones among us.

Hahaha well done. What happened to the fly? Oh I see he was eaten by a toad. You should be writin for the Australian or similar. Their cartoon pages are awful and your wrk is both comical and easy on the eye. ð???

Was that the same Frieda the fly who foolishly ventured into Spunky spider's parlor?
The Lord of the Flies must be alive and well, I have legions of 'em, and only one lousy toad sleeping under the back step. Excellent oad to the tode.
