:)) - Well, this little gem almost feels like romance and summer breezes; stolen glances, exposed shoulders and a hint of perfume on the air...Well done! Best of luck in the contest. I can 'hear' the music...

Good color in your presentation with just the right touch of French included in your 5-7-5. I particularly like the hot pink and black displayed with your piece. Much luck in the contest with this fine entry. Marilyn

This 5-7-5, Paris, has the right set up and includes some of the sites and utterances that may be as close to the French city as we may ever get. Funny.

A lovely photo of the Eiffel Tower, but a couple of nits to point out.

Ooh, la, la..... Pa-ree
-no commas needed, also this familiar phrase is most often seen with an exclamation mark at the end:

Ooh La La!

Misspelling Paris in order to approximate the French pronunciation doesn't work terribly well for me (I actually find it slightly offensive.) Since you're using the phrase "Ooh La La!" which most people typically associate with a French-sounding accent, the proper name, Paris, will likely be sufficient as people will recognize the French pronunciation of the city. Also, there is a natural tendency to rhyme the word with the previous line's ending, "Cherie".

Consider:
Ooh La La! PARIS!

Best of luck in the contest,
pf

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about Paris and its magical powers and attractions that make us feel romantic and playful. The Eiffel Tower is the most famous attraction for all tourists.

I wanted to give you a heads-up review. There is a short author note attached to the poem, and the contest does not allow author notes. You might want to take that out.

Good luck in the contest.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

thank you for sharing your entry in the 5-7-5 poetry contest. Your three line poem is well structured to enhance the limited syllables and get the Parisian theme to come come across.

Well done and good luck in the contest,

~patty~
