Clever:Squid and Octopi are holding a Hug-fest-- that would be a sight to see.
The deep six--I'm thinking naughty. Another intimate position. LOL

Actually the term deep six refers to burial at sea. The traditional six feet under meets throwing something overboard. In regular jargon, someone might say, "We'll 'deep six' that idea and go with a better one."

I pity any fool that wanders into places they don't belong in, who venture there with an exit strategy. For example, in the old days settlers who knew there were hostile Indians out on the prairie not happy about the encroachment going on, these people took their behinds out there without taking the proper precautions and often got slaughtered. It's one thing to go out there, but if you do, you had better be prepared.

I enjoyed reading your acrostic poem "Octopus World 6". You kept to all the rules for this genre and I liked your choice of story.
All the best.

Such a cute acrostic. Very well written and not just a bunch of words that fit.
I'm a bit of a hugger, but I think I'll pass this one up. 8-)

Ha-very clever and well thought out. It sounds like a bit of a frightening place to be. Very imaginative and original and great food for thought.

This is a very interesting acrostic poem about the octopus again. You used very interesting and very good descriptive wording giving us more information about them. Blessings, Teri

Hello Bill Schott,
Or maybe perhaps more Marine than biologist *smirks*.
Nicely played on the acrostic, the humor really touched it off quite nicely.

Hahahaha...
That's not good, Bill.
Not your poem, you understand, but the situation it speaks of.
This gives the term "swimming with the fishes" an entirely new meaning.
Funny... :)
