Hahahaha, Bill, as usual you have outdone yourself with this wonderful pranka. So even a spider weighs up the pros and cons. I love it. All the best. Ulla:))

Is this based on fact or just your personal opinion based on experience? :-) Good use of assonance with tasty, gamey, take.
Great ending with reference to a silken web.

Very good. What's for lunch? Phyllis Stewart calls house flies air raisins. She eats them on oatmeal. I just swat them. A good way to keep them away is with a plastic lunch bag full of ice and water.

I keep them away by keeping two armless zombies on leashes. The flies seem to prefer them and leave me alone.

A very well-written pranka. In spider world the few things that matter is a strong web from the purest silk to catch dinner. The house flies seem to be the tadtiest meal.

I love the names you come up with.

Who knew that houseflies are less fat and gamey tasting? Did you perform an experiment?

These keep getting better and better. 8-)

Excellent and very creative. Your poem takes more than one read, the reader has to relish your words. I never gave much thought to this subject and I can't relate. It gave me a chuckle, so you get thumbs up from me.

This speaks about the fun and humour aspect of living and eating habits of the houseflies and how they contribute to the cause of worth the silk in comparison with spiders; I liked.

This is the best one yet, Bill. Kudos to you for an exceptional write. Wish I had a sixer for you. ("Amos" -- love it!) A stroke of genius here:
"houseflies tend to be fatter
tasting less gamey"
Great job.
