This is excellent - well written. I love it all but the first stanza really captured my attention so I had to read it through:)
'bath' should be 'bathe'.

A very appropriate poem On Independence Day. America has a long, rich history. Unfortunately, much of it has been trampled underfoot by greedy politicians.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my poem. I wasn't really even thinking about Independence Day when I wrote it but it does seem to fit. But then, we are always dealing with greedy politicians.

A very well-written political poem. Whoever is the leader of a country should be respected at all times. If we can't agree with the leadership, then we can at least give him a fair chance. There were worse leaders whom everyone just ignored for all their wrong doings.

So am I, and many others. I have a tendency to voice similar concerns in my writing, and have been known to cry in public when reading my works. FanStory is much safer outlet!
