This witty, animal 5-7-5, Tomcat's Revenge, has the proper set up and catches Tom unable to control his 'why-I-oughta' temper as he mushes tabby's puss into the kibble. Good stuff.

Being a huge cat enthusiast, I really enjoyed your poem! I have 6 indoor cats and can relate to this behavior. Cats are very territorial. I love how the witty cat in your poem shoves the feline thief's face into the food bowl as he's caught stealing! It was clever to write the poem from the perspective of the cat who happens upon the thief. Great form, humor, and visual accompaniment make this a stand-out piece. Good luck in the contest. A very well-written witty 5-7-5 on animal behaviour. The little thieve's face is forced into the bowl by the owner of the food. Animals have the same emotions than we have and handle their frustration and emotions their way.
