Thanks, Yvette, for giving this a look. (Who lost the toss?)
Comment from Gloria ....
LOL, this is a cute one too, Bill. I haven't ever made a horse like this but I can imagine it has its ups and downs.
Another fine addition to your book and many thanks for sharing. :)

I'm onto spiders, Ulla.

Whack! Not my cup of tea. Not your poems but spiders. Can't stand them.

This is obviously a horse of a different color. One might even call it a dark horse. Not that imposing as a mighty steed or stallion. Still it has it own certain charm. However I would hesitate to try and straddle the back of this exotic mount, as something horrible and catastrophic might very well occur on the attempt. better to view this one from a safe distance, avoiding its rear lest you get mistaken for its twin.

lol This is just too cute and I love the wording and the picture you used. I don't think I want to become a horse this way or any other way. Very good wording and imagery. Blessings, Teri

Aha! very funny. reminds me of the Craig Ferguson show. Had a Craig Kilborne show too but the Ferguson show had a horse in it. yep, I would hate to be the rear horse, of course. Yep, do you own horses? Thanks for the show. BOO-fiffic!

Your humor always comes so smoothly, Bill. "Becoming a horse" of course carries two meanings: 1) Becoming a real horse, and is carried forward in meaning with "just takes time" (which can mean the normal horse + horse process), before the mind takes a bend when it reads "and two people" leads to, 2) becoming the cloth horse. The original double meaning the mind is given, though, creates the poetic tension (even in a humorous poem).
I love how you do this, Bill. Wish I had a six to trade for my 2 cents! LOL, it's a worthy read.

LOL. I didn't know what to expect with the title or the picture. But okay, the syllable count works and the coordination of two people is required to become "a horse."
