Such a difficult thing to write about but you have done it in a way that is quite pragmatic, moving amongst the mourners and taking it all in.
Beautiful ending to this well written poem, evoking a sorrowful image but just wanting to reassure. Good luck in the contest.

I like how you set the scene and introduce the dead Speaker who is a dry-eyed observer of friends and family at her funeral. She's just happy to be free of pain. One recurrent problem, especially in stanza 4: shifting verb tense.

Such a vivid scene created here of loss and grief but also of blessed release from pain. I loved your expression, "I wisped among their conversations"! Good luck in the contest!
