In my opinion, an articulate lune, well constructed and indicative of a forgotten past - in perfect compliance with the prompt - an obvious winner in its pensive simplicity - I've said it all...

I like the pic chosen to go with the Lune poem. The colouring is great too. An excellent idea to honour the vets. Thanks for sharing and reminding us about these men and women.

Congrats on winning the contest. There is an eery feel to your words. The image of the deserted truck is powerful and has an impact on the reader. Excellent lune form, you say much in few words.

Wow. This makes me wonder who the truck belonged(s) to. Where did they go? What happened to them so the truck is there all by itself? And why the dog tags?
A touching, brief poem. Nicely-worded. It makes complete sense to me. Nicely-done!

Nice description of the truck. I like the metaphor of dog tags for license plates. It looks to old to even still be in one piece.
Congratulations on winning the contest.

Thank you, but what is a Seven Star Recognition ? Does just imply the winning piece? None the less, I am thrilled Val Crisson

Really enjoyed this line poem, such a poignant message within this deep and meaningful three line offerings.
Vets should be treated with more respect and treated with the dignity they deserve.

Loved the graphic that sets this poem up it's never easy to get true meaning to surface when you have to us the syllable counts that a Lune poem requires. great choice of words to make it work goodt job. Good luck.

This speaks a story of untold story of an accident, mishap or something mysterious, anything might have happened, the truck is in this solitary place; left behind - who or what? I liked.

Wow. I am not at all familiar with this Lune type of poetry, but this poem is very powerful even though it has so few words. The picture is perfect. I understand the indication of the dog tags, but the idea of them being left behind could indicate multiple things. Eg: death while on duty and some family member has left them in the truck as a remembrance or the suicide of the military member. This poem made me think and I liked that a lot, Thanks for sharing this complex poem.

A poet is always happy, when he/she make people "think" This is an excellent review, and they have become a rarity on this site. Thank you so much.
