I suppose that's why Jesus was crucified, He had no right to be good, just His presence was enough to condemn them of their unrighteousness. But a desire to reconcile is not enough to necessarily reunite, which I think was going on here. One would think that "getting on" would be a desire to live in harmony, but one needs to be in a place of self love, to do that, well done, you sure understand "toxic" great scribing, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy; thank you so much for this thoughtful and concise review. I'm glad that the sense of conflict and desire to reconcile comes across - but the dysfunction of the situation overshadows everything. I'm thankful you have followed along with the saga,

Yes, dysfunction is like a pall of smog.

Oh, that was good!!! I loved how Kathy handled herself with her sister-in-laws. From all accounts the mother stirred things up a good deal amongst them, leaving Kathy in a terrible state. I'm glad Kathy is okay now that she's met them all again. But, now who is this surprise guest? From what we've learned about Jane, she is so manipulating, the devil would have sent her back!! LOL. Don't take long with the conclusion, I expect we are all as desperate as each other to read that! Well done, another gripping part. :) Sandra xx

A very good chapter. Things are building to a head without exploding. That's coming. Everyone better stand back when it gets here.

Comment from His Grayness
Still following this highly emotional and rigorous story of enormous human frictions. The writing is excellent due to the fact that it is 'GRIPPING" the reader's value system and creating a constant question of "who's gonna come out on top of this really HIGH barrier of ANGST! the drama continues.....well done! HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

Hi Vance; I do so appreciate your high praise for this story. I think the conclusion will help to relieve some of the tension I've created with these characters - it will be a fun read!

Hello, Patty,
I enjoyed your well-written story. You did a good job with the characters. The plot is engaging to the end. Caressa, is not very likable, is she? Someone should bring her down a couple of notches. I feel bad for Kathy and all she had to endure.
Well done, honey.

Hi Gypsy; it seems to be unanimous that Caressa is the true villain here. I'm so glad it comes across that way - she is specifically written that way. Thank you for continuing to follow along - the next part will be the last as everything comes to a head,

Let me guess, Their mother is not dead. I'm sure she will have a good reason for her facade, but I don't think anything could fix the problems in this dysfunctional family. Kathy has proved herself to be worthy of the task asked of her. No matter who it is, this is going to be good I bet! LOL Nancy

A very well-written chapter, everyone pretend to be fine and happy and doing good for themselves, but the slightest thing makes them crumble and come out with the truth.

Hi Sandra; thank you so much for your continued support of the saga. Yes, the family certainly has a great deal to face up to - a lot of things happened that could have been smoothed over,

Oh no, it isn't the supposedly dead mother-in-law is it? The dialogue is believable and flows well. So sad when families get on the wrong side of each other.

Family feuds can cut deeply and cripple the soul. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

This is another new story about a mysterious letter and love, malice and viciousness, Kathy knew that her mother-in-law W. Jane Hamlin loved her; story never ends; I liked
