This made me laugh, the same thing happened to me only the other day, it is quite an art to spit without swallowing......pesky bugs.

I think the poem is as cute as a bug. The story is universal in the imagination of those who take time to humor themselves if swallowing a bug. That is exactly how I would react. It's a good one. Good luck on the contest.

Haha, this made me laugh - hilarious. Who said poetry has to be deep and meaningful and a window to the soul? This style of rhyme is right up there with the best of its meaningful counterparts and the story it tells is pretty crazy - just as I like em! Love it!

Hi Emily, That was my intention LOL It was fun to write and ai actually wrote the last line first and then came up with the rest.
