A cold snap when it should be warm, can pick the senses and your poem brings reality to those thoughts, no where is the weather so unpredictable as in England! Love Dolly x

A very well-written haiku. Temperatures and weather patterns are extreme and wrong all over the world. We are on the edge if winter and there are still green leaves on the trees not even half of the leaves have shed till now.

Man, I wish we would have a cold spell right now. I have a bad cold or something and I'm sweating profusely with the Air conditioning on. At least your poem made me cool for a second/

Thanks to the commentary, I understand your meaning. Here we have seen baffling May weather, and indeed, this year reminds us of our blind ignorance.

It would be driving me mad by now Gypsy, not having my computer : ) I liked your thought provoking haiku friend, I do not see man fixing the problem any time soon unfortunately but I do see a lot more super storms in our futures.

Hello, Gypsy. A very different sort of haiku for you.
We, the human race, are completely oblivious to the damage we're inflicting on Mother Earth, the only place in the entire universe we can call home...for now.
Climate change, global warming--all of it is wreaking havoc on ecosystems all over the globe.
How long before Earth begins to retaliate and fight back?
Time will tell...if she hasn't already.

Yes, I have been reading Harold Henderson ans I am trying something different. Not having my laptop sucks.
I was waiting for my ride after my doctor's appointment and this came to me.
Thank you for the review and kind words sweetie pie.

It looks beautiful, Marival. I didn't know you could do this with your Kindle. I know it has internet access but I've never used it myself. I just use it to read.
The weather over here is consistently hot, so I wish I had that cold spell.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello,
Hope you get your laptop soon.
I liked the cold spell in May. I don't care for summer because I'm stuck inside with the air conditioner. But now I cannot afford one so it will be an interesting summer. Glad the hallways and common rooms are air conditioned.

This reminded me that only last week we had
snowfalls and in parts of the country the snow was 60cm high
and other parts had hailstones the size of golf balls.
This week has been rather nice and warm...
Hugs,
Aki
