Well, my favorite line is the title and not even in the poem. Love this:
"A Dove is a Pigeon with a Better Reputation."
However, you poem is good, too. Marilyn

I liked your 5-7-5 poem, I am sorry about the misunderstanding. (I thought the poem had to be about a blackbird) In your first line you used the plural "pigeons" and the singular "dove". Also in the naming of your poem "Misnomer" was written incorrectly. (Misnomer). You may wish to correct this. - or was this all intended? I have upgraded you to 5 stars now.
Best of luck.

Ouch! But your review made me take a fresh look, and I agreed the poem wasn't up to snuff. I think it's better now.
    Thanks, Marybell.

When I review I like to think that I have been of some help. I hope I do not offend.

Your description of the differences between doves and pigeons is an excellent play on words and the imagery we associate with them. Perfect syllable count. Best of luck in the contest.
