This 5-7-5, When You Spot This Bird, seems to be using an rd-winged blackbird (Agelaius phoeniceus) as the type of bird that makes bird watchers watch.

You have selected a gorgeous bird to illustrate your poem. Thanks for choosing it as the focus. Nature does give striking color to its wildlife. Marilyn

You've written a nice poem.
It consists of three lines with a syllable count of 5-7-5
I can clearly see that this poem meets the requirements of the contest.
Lovely artwork: The image shown is a perfect fit for this poem. The background color goes well with the art and font color chosen.
Best of luck to you in the contest.
Thanks for sharing your Blackbird.
Good luck with your future writing.

This poem is lovely, as it expresses a lot in 17 syllables. It involves the reader and captures a precise experience of beauty, which is imbued with deeper meaning. It is a wonderful example of poetry, to create the grander experience of color as God's Gift through one imagining.

Simple superb. I love the last line, God's gift of colour. For it also adds a point that we all are gifted each of us have our uniqueness. And no cloud is small. Good luck. Namaste.

The colors in nature truly are a gift from God! They make life so much more interesting and they really do catch your eye. The bird in your poem is a wonderful example of that. Your syllable count is perfect and I like the picture you've chosen. Great work! Best of luck to you in the contest! :)

You are correct, this bird can be easily spotted. You executed the form to perfection. However, without the artwork the reader may not grasp that you are referring to a blackbird. Perhaps you may want to consider changing the title to something where the blackbird is mentioned. Just a thought. Please feel free to ignore my suggestion. What do I know? I love the poem regardless.
Good luck in the contest.
