A super collaborative effort. Especially since you were writing together without knowing where you were going. Ha! You created a sad story of abuse but brought it to an appropriate (pretend) close as everything ends up right.

Thank you very much, my friend. :) I'm going to do a traditional renga with Dean and Hitcher.... guess what it will be about? hahaha... actually I have no clue but this time we will be following a template.

This is really good Gypsy because it is real. I have heard of this exact scenario in real life. The abusive Dad, the abused mom, physically and mentally the suffering kids then her final last resort to rid the pain of him. You've really spelled out how it is well done

I am glad you printed the whole thing in reading form for us to put it all together instead of just adding the last haiku. An interresting piece of work being able to add to anothers piece. YOu two work this one good

The mother and children are abused by an abusive father. She poisons the soup the abusive father will have or has for a meal. But she poisons herself as an act of love or belief, I guess, leaving a note, telling the crying kill, that they are safe from him now. Very interesting.

Great job! I really enjoyed this tanka poem as I did the rengu forms. Of course, not knowing the first thing about poetry, I can only take them at word value. But that's a pleasure for me. Now, we can only hope the children will be safe in a foster home. What am I talking about? This isn't real. But it could be. Wish I had a six. :-)
