A very well-written free verse poem about love and what your partner means to you. She rescued you with the love she have and give to you. A love that seems to never end.

This is a loving poem of word from one spouse to the other about their gratefulness for their undying love. Their love has stood and passed the tests of time and they are still enjoying togetherness, Most people these days think that marriages of togetherness this way does not last and end up quickly in divorces. However, there are still marriages and relationships like the one you are describing here. I finally have one of these marriages. I can picture myself as the spouse saying this to my husband in the scenery you described. Thank you for this glimpse of what true love is like.

And through it all
Joys and problems
I thrived because of
Your loving support
Thank you for my life
And for spending it with me ... Yes, this is the way it's "supposed" to be, Anonymous Poet.
Sadly, that's not quite the way it worked out for some of us.
Lord, Alfred Tennyson once wrote in his poem, "In Memoriam", the following:
"I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all." ...I, for one, completely disagree. You cannot miss something you've never had.
Great poem.

Sounds honest and heart felt. You are lucky to find your true love. Thank your sharing this slice of your life with us. I did however find a few minor mistakes regarding capitalization.

Beautiful picture and the sand colour of the background connects it to your poem. A lovely romantic poem. It's good to count your blessings. I like the sea analogy. Good rtythm. Maggie a
