You have inspired me to write a poem about the Yeti. Your work flows well. Your ideas are presented logically and in a way as to convince the reader. Not sure Yeti are everywhere they are sighted, but maybe here.

My brother in law believed firmly in bigfoot, aliens, and government conspiracies. Many people thought he was a wakko or had simply smoked to much weed. Admitably Danny was no saint but he was not crazy either. He did a lot of research into the unknown. I believe in the possibility of such things. There is more credible evidence than most people know. This brought me back to some interesting conversations around fall bon fires. I really miss Danny. Thank you for reminding me of one of my favorite people.

This was compelling fiction that could easily be about aliens, ghosts, or extrasensory perception. There is an abundance of "proof" on all of these as well.

You've described the mystery well. Yeti! And why shouldn't they be real? Anything worth investigating to that extent and shutting away as top secret once it's found is worth believing in. Just because we've not found it yet doesn't mean a thing. Someday it WILL turn up, you'll see. Marilyn

I won't be convinced unless they actually find evidence of a body. Not even creatures have control over where they die.If they are real a body would have been discovered by now. I remember this event. I enjoyed your essay. Well done Thomas. Nancy

Sorry, it will take more than your words to make me believe in the Yeti. After all this 'evidence', it seems like someone would have collected one by now, and the greater amounts of evidence, the greater the probability that one would be in a zoo by now. *smile* Just my opinion. Thanks, though!

This is a subject I am greatly interested in, although I never rule anything in or anything out until there is hardcore scientific evidence. I know of this event, if memory serves correct the majority of the nine deaths were caused by hypothermia, one as you say had eyes gorged out and tongue ripped out, the others head injuries....all very intriguing, although I was unaware there was any video evidence. A British scientist has recently investigated this and was able to obtain hair samples of a yeti from monks...turned out it was a polar bear/ brown bear cross bred. These areas of Russia and North America are so large and remote it is possible for a undiscovered bipedal to exist....I loved your story and am interested to read of more of what you have to offer, so I hope you don't mind if I become a fan.

There is just too much evidence... I've read a lot about this sort of thing and most of it isn't irrefutable evidence. Much like UFOs and aliens, the nature of the evidence is very similar. Nothing definitive or empirical. There is certainly enough to suggest something however.
