As our days here on earth are numbered, but eternity is not. We do not own even our bodies or souls as we think because we are still mortal. So when we start our day with prayer, it is the initial requirement for immortality and as it is written: Let everything that has breath Praise the LORD. Peace

Although a beautifully written heartfelt poem it was hard to read for the sadness. At the same time there is a separate element of your relationship with God which offers comfort and hope. A lovely poem thanks for sharing.
