Very nicely expressed poem. I too write about people I see or places that inspire me and sometimes the poems never get finished but sometimes I just write because it is cathartic and good for me. I enjoyed your "Forgotten Poems".

This tells casual writing blocks when poet feels thoughts of poems are forgotten and states carelessness of not being within the theme of the producible immortal poems; I liked I could relate to such state.

Oh yes my friend so many of us write poetry about things we witness or just a stranger in the street that we will never get to meet they are the inspiration but they will never get to know I enjoyed regards Jill
