Hello Ogden,
A hitting piece of Satire Poetry meeting the desired norms, and transparently depicting its theme; the tone and tenor - Excellent!
The Contest Winner! You really deserve it. CONGRATULATIONS!!

RP, you must think me an ingrate. I'm embarrassed that I didn't thank you for your compliments and generous six-star rating.
It is very much appreciated!
Wishing you the best on FS,
Don (aka Ogden)

Hey Ogden,
'ingrate', not at all!
It sometimes happens.
When I like something, I appreciate that, and I do so for the sake of my own pleasure.
Thanks for your best wishes,
~RP

Hi friend, this is Donald Trump
On one side everything can be said about him..and still he did not care. For him the world is bad ,he is good.
Still he is the President, he commands and he can order.
A fall? Did he have a fall?

LOL, good one. I mean, what can I say? It's all true. No promise is doable because no one wants him to do them in the first place. You fulfilled the requirements of the contest well and I enjoyed your honesty.

This poem about Trump, Donald Trump is Humpty Dumpty, seems to be predicting the end of the Donald. All the Republican elephants and all the Russian spies couldn't but him back together again.

Don, I thought I'd pop in to see what you're up to and I come across this little ditty of a 5-7-5 - or rather a 5-6-5. I have written a DT Humpty Dumpty poem on him too but haven't posted it. As always a good and controversial piece from you. :-) ~DD

This is so clever and gave me a giggle, excellent picture which accompanies your words brilliantly.
But the last line.......killed it.
Have a great day

Thank you, YNWA! (That feels rather formal. Is it okay to call you "Y" for short?)
I appreciate your compliments, especially the giggle part - much more rewarding than "LOL," which now, I think, has come to represet a polite grin - but I'm not sure tha you didn't take it all back with "........killed it," Anyhow, I get to keep the giggle!

Congratulations on the win!
Expect a tweet from the Donald
Something about the liberal press
Excellent 5-7-5 poem
using art work of any type is fine
Some use famous quotes, sayings, etc.
Obviously, your poem resonates
Well done

Thanks, RS! Haven't heard from DJT. He has his little hands particularly full these days.
As to the memes as "art work," I agree that it should be ok, except in contests that limit the words or syllables - unless the words of the meme don't explain, or serve to exceed the intended limit on syllables or words. The goal in contests should be to write the best poem, not to win by gaming the intention of the prompts. Now lemme offa the soap box!

A very well-written haiku. Although in my opinion president Trump done so far more good than any other president in history. The failing projects are due to sabotage and people opposing his efforts to do things right. (That is only my opinion, and everyone has the right to their opinion.)

Thanks for the compliment on my poem, Sandra!
Of course, we all have a right to our opinions. So I'll answer yours by saying that the only sabotage to Trump's "failing projects" is self-inflicted. He can't help continually shooting himself in the foot. He already has alienated many of our allies all over the world, his likely treasonous collusion with Russia is being investigated by The FBI, CIA, and Republican and Democratic Committees, while his US approval rating is the lowest of any previous American president at this stage of his presidency.
Sandra, you said Trump has done "more good than any other president in history." We've had truly great presidents in our history who established our freedoms and made our country the refuge that inspired millions of immigrants to abandon their own countries for the opportunity to thrive here. Can you name one, just one good thing Donald Trump has accomplished as President?
No offense intended, Sandra. Nothing is more important today than surviving the peril that Trump has put us in, so I felt it necessary to reply to your praise of him (and the implied disparagement of our history). A lot is going on that I think you may be unaware of.
Now back to poetry.

You may be right, I react on what I hear from friends and news networks. What I hear is that jobs streaming in the country for the Americans, the economy is doing well. Etc
-
Yes, unemployment is the lowest it's been since 2008 when Obama succeeded Bush, jobs are growing, and the economy is doing very well, but those gains all are attributable to what President Obama did during his two terms in office. Trump has only been president for less than three months, and had nothing to do with what you were giving him credit for. What he has done, is weaken the Republican party. They are fighting amongst themselves, broken into two factions, both opposing Trump because of the policies that he's been making up day by day. As I said earlier, he has been sabotaging himself. Now he's fighting them AND the Democrats. Many of his former followers now realize that he made promises during his presidential campaign just to get their votes, knowing he never would keep them. For example, his failed "TrumpCare"health plan would have caused the loss of 24,000,000 jobs, severely cut benefits to the elderly, and put billions of dollars, "saved" from health care, into tax savings - not for the working class, but only for each of the already wealthiest 2% of the country- the billionaires. That's why the bill he was promising would benefit everyone, failed so badly. He never takes responsibility for his mistake, and blames everyone else, especially the news media, whenever it criticizes him.
We're all in the same leaky boat, and the captain is putting more holes in it.
Sandra, forget Fox News for a while. Do some googling, and look into what's really happening in the world. Poets should know about it.
Let's do some.

LOL. I love this satirical piece but truly, who wouldn't find a teeny bit of humor or just a bit of a twinge from his supporters. Well done. Let's just see how it all goes as time progresses.
