This 3-5-3 about nature, You Are Cordially Invited, has the proper syllable count and heralds the return of the crocuses that will be all around my house in a couple months. Nice.

The title turns this into something really special. A celebration of the coming of the union with Spring. How wonderful to be invited. Sadly for me I shall have a longer wait living on the other side of the equator, but your invitation is gladly accepted.

This is a lovely tribute to Spring's arrival. The metaphor of a wedding ceremony with crocus "bridesmaids" leading the procession is novel and easily visualized. A superb entry in this contest. Rod
