Poor kitty! This is an apt animal opinion about a new arrival. I can't imagine what the cat will do about a baby. In the past, I've brought puppies into a cat's house. My one large Norwegian Forest cat tried to suffocate the puppy by sitting on his head! Thank you for this amusing look into the cat's mind.

I really enjoyed reading your poem "Four's a Crowd". You told it beautifully through the eyes of a cat, of which you chose a lovely photo. Just one thing. In verse six you have rhymed "me" and "fleas". I do not know if the judges accept near rhymes.

Thanks for the compliments, and your concern about the me/fleas near rhyme. As you know, near rhymes are commonly used in poetry. They're are not an issue on FS, and besides, rhyming is not even required in this contest. The only judges are the Committee folks who screen the entries before the voting.
