A very well-written 5-7-5 poem on the Jasmine flower with its sweet fragrance that drifts in the evening breeze. A beautiful memory of your mom.

What sweet memories we associate with various different scents. This sounds like a particularly lovely one to remember your mother by. The heavy scent of jasmine at night is one of best.

This is an awesome poem of remembrance, June. I know your mother is enjoying it. The art/picture is perfect. What a sweet tribute, too.

Thanks for sharing & caring. Jan

flowers and fragrance from that fill the air that God lets us all share in their beauty during the spring air. Jasmine is pretty and I can see why it was your mother's favorite and every blooming season they give good reason to remember mom. All the best

This is an excellent haiku, June.
It's written in a more English traditional 5/7/5 format, although both haiku as well as senryu may use less than seventeen syllables.
According to the World Kigo Database, WKD(03)-Jasmine, the word "jasmine" implies "late summer".
It's a lovely ode to you dear mom.

This is lovely. You must have sweet memories of your mother and can be reminded of them when you smell jasmine sweetly scenting the air. Beautiful picture to pair with your poem.

This work has reached the exceptional level

The topic got me from the beginning. I passed by a jasmine tree for two years while working at a hospital, jasmines are one of my favorite flowers, and one of the first flowers I learned about from my grandma. The poem is straightforward; yet, meaningful. Great job.
