I know how hard these poems are to write but you put me in that beautiful calm golden moment with the picture, your words work really well, I can imagine these two working together to be a framed piece of art. I adore Autumn with all the colours and smells as I walk my dogs in Hyde Park in London.
I can't see anything you could do to improve this. I'm a great believer in following what your soul says when we write. Congratulations on your win and thank you for replying.

One can easily see why this artwork would inspire your haiga and why such a morn would make you forget your thoughts. Some days one does not need a laptop to remember the glory of such a day.

This is an excellent entry for the haiga contest
with exact syllables at 5-7-5
and excellent imagery in the autumn morn/golden pond,
Solid grammatical connection
and a humorous and true satori line.
Of course, that also means no Fanstory
which will add to the bliss. lol
