I so love the deep sentiment ascribed from you heart and mind... and the 23 psalm is one of my favorites... so it excerpts sat perfectly at the head of this most eloquent poem... yeah, finally reunited with her son Mickey.
Yes, F/S had only a short time to see this beautiful soul shine... but Jeni shone as a fire-ball in our vision that everyone could witness and read of her passion and obvious talent.
So sorry that it took me this long to review this most special tribute poem... and truly sorry for your loss... I know your connection was becoming to be a strong one... but beautiful souls come into our lives, as we do theirs... treasure that gift as I know you do.

I have only just recently returned to FS after a couple of years away but I will always remember Luna and her beautiful poetry from when I first joined the site nine years ago. She was a lovely warm hearted lady who loved to write, loved to review other writers works and was an inspiration to many. Excellent poem !!

Thank you very much. Yes, we were new friends, but I felt very close to her. She was very sweet and strong, too - I'll miss her.

I did not know Luna well - but her poetry (especially the ones about
Mickey) always touched my heart.
Your poem/funeral song was wonderful to imagine her "hearing"
it as she took that final journey home.

Her words were and always will be a joy to read,

Luna was a light that shone on all,

Oh my gosh!!!! I didn't know. This is truly sad news. She was my friend, and I add with the others on this site who mourn her.
